Optimistic Post: Waiting For The Phone To Ring

This is something all to familiar in context and behavior, even if we try and talk ourselves out of it...always very difficult.  It may be a call you are waiting for from a job or a doctor and maybe the most personal, a call from a new romantic interest.  We wait and check our phone...nothing, it's common wisdom to carry on and when you least expect it, your answer will be conveyed. The anxious waiting seems like an eternity, it takes it's toll emotionally and sometimes physically. Go about your life, entertain distractions because eventually in the proper time frame the phone will ring and hopefully your patient mind set will be rewarded with the anticipated connection you've been longing for.

Fusion Post: Sun Rise, Sunset/ It Comes From Within

Sun Rise, Sun Set

It's the way of life, day's come and day's go, when we take the time to really think about it, such is the continuance of life.  As we travel through our path of busy lives it is similar to taking the moment of watching the sun rise and being available to watch the sun set.  It is a simple comparison , do you want to witness and be involved in the rising or further down your path, wish you had taken the time to do so...

It Comes From Within

The wonderment of life can be as complicated as we make it, or not.  Whatever obstacles are tossed our way ultimately the resolution is up to us.  There are a few factors that are integral to all dealing's in our reality.  The resolve we finally call upon to help us is quietly and patiently waiting from within...

Parody Post: Too Hot To Handle

Oh some times in life we are tossed an issue that is hot.  Sometimes too hot and we want to flip it out to where it came from or else out into the universe, never to return!  At first, you're unwittingly mentally ready to deal with the matter of contention.  You drop it(ignore it for awhile), you pick it up again and it still has heat.  Maybe...pick it up with heavy duty heat resistance gloves, not feeling the heat and a remedy will come your way.  No, not the answer either.  Eventually, the answer strikes you like a lightning bolt, this is way too hot for me, I'll change the handle (heat resistant) take a long cool stroll outside and ponder on the answer to the fiery bewilderment.

Fusion Post: A Rude Awakening/ One Side Or The Other

A Rude Awakening

Life does not pull any punches when it comes to teaching us life lessons.  We have to be aware and think objectively to put forth an effort towards a resolution.  Usually during a typical lesson, we do have some control over the circumstance.  As time moves along with little or no input, we become less in control and turning towards being at a disadvantage.  To avoid this, turn off events that are happening around us, staying timely keeping the discipline factor in charge to avoid the usually merciless, rude awakening.

One Side Or The Other

We hear it often pick a side, can't sit on the fence, it's either one side or the other.  Choosing sides, opinions  and decisions most times needs a timely response.  It can't be avoided and it has it's consequences one way or the other.  Keep an open mind, form your determination because if you don't...one side or the other will choose it for you.

Inspirational Post: East Side, West Side

On a recent holiday trip into New York City, I was so heartened to move around this great city and feel it's strength and resiliency alive and well.  Recent times throughout our great country we have seen and maybe experienced some good with the bad.  Nothing new in that regard.  In many ways New York City can teach us a few life lessons on taking some hit's and continuing to thrive, such as a rise in unemployment, an uptick in crime and political upheaval and observing that the city still stays the course. You can see and witness the spirit of the city by enjoying Hudson Yards, Ground Zero and old faithfuls, Rockefeller Center and Radio City as the pulse and vitality prevails.  It's truly invigorating to navigate East Side to West Side and take in the culture and iconic institutions and then to leave the city with a feeling of inherent grit and perseverance the city and it's citizens embody.

Feature Post: I'm Here For You

It's a wonderful situation in your life when you can always rely on that one certain person to be there for you when it really counts.  Usually, it comes at a time of great distress and confusion and that soothing compassionate quote is spoken, " I'm here for you."  The instant result of that assurance can in many situations at the very least, be life changing or change the course of a dilemma.  Words do have their way of entering the psyche and clearing the path to a resolution.  So when a difficult matter is struggling in your mind,  reach out to that special person because the personal  allegiance and words you are about to hear just might help out tremendously in the here and now...

Fusion Post: Give It Some Time/ Have No Fear

 Give It Some Time

These day's we seem to always ask and need a quick fix or instant gratification, not all concerns require  a prompt solution.  Time if you allow it, can give you grace and clarity to move forward in life.  Yes, time waits for no one, but time can also be your silent ally in times of uncertainty and bewilderment.

Have No Fear

This is easier said than done for sure.  In some cases fear arrives purely out of a situation which we are unschooled about.  It's the lack of  knowledge of the dynamics of  a predicament that leads us to apprehension and doubt.  Face fear head on, assess the depth of the challenge and confront it with the influence of outright perception.

Mindful Post: First Impressions

When we meet someone for the first time it can be tricky...mostly we would like to think we read people very well.  In most cases if people are honest and forthright, the read is fairly easy.  Otherwise, it can go either way.  What we assessed initially could change quickly or over time, depending on circumstances and issues.  Therefore, it's a little bit of both, don't judge a book by it's cover, and follow your instincts until it proves out.  Either way, be open not judgmental and remain guarded until the cloak of uncertainty is lifted.

Feature Post: There's Someone For Everyone

It seems part of the ritual of teenage adolescence development, that our first love loss strikes deeply.  Our very first incursion into heartfelt feelings and affection, not only leaves the emotions vulnerable, but can strike hard at self confidence.  Whether or not the love returns the memory and sensitivity remains.  Some recover sooner then later.  As time passes and we become wiser in love and life, we understand there's reasons and lessons for everything in life.  Even though the hurt resides in a little place in the heart, if you stay in the game and keep an open mind you'll most definitely enjoy the splendor of the old adage, " There's someone for everyone."
