 Something I Said?

Keeps rolling around in my head.

Can’t take it back, it’s no act.

Being impulsive, the words were misread.

Showing some good nature decided to retract.

Needing some clarity offering revision instead.

Didn’t mean to cross the line

Just being friendly, I’m a dunderhead.

Merely chatting what time is off, now I’m a victim 

of the gossipy…
