Waiting It Out

 

In the beginning there was plenty of doubt

All we care to do is get out.

Makes no sense to scream and shout

Weather has its timely clout.

It travels on a most certain route

Pouring down wetting and drenching,

The body and senses with extreme

Wrenching.

Testing patience at every stream

No mindful outrage needed.

Simply hold on and believe,

I’ll carry on unimpeded.
