 Is Anybody Listening

There is a distant whistling...

People all about what 

Are they talking about. 

Egos chattering in earnest

All believing it's their clout.

Everyone jabbering at such

A SPEED,

Is there really a big need.

Actually no one lending an ear

Wanting to scream 

Someone take heed!

Glancing over the immodest troupe

Wondering...

Has anyone secured a meritorious scoop!
