Getting Old'ing


Never a small thing.

Step by step passing Spring,

Flexibility of all sorts now, mostly sting.

Sharpness of mind vastly fleeting.

Interests once most important: dulling.

Beloved soul mate, no longer holding.

Family distant and not forthcoming.

The forlorn ground rules,

Commands the callous diminishing.
