Ever since day one
At the certain delicate age,
The discovery was born.
Although at times adverse,
Influences try to coerce.
Age, experience, good and
Bad pressure help etch
The identity.
Strong character, true beliefs
Tested as they emerge hopefully,
As the virtuous end product of
Assembly.
Fighting off villainous attempts
At insincerity and corruption.
Wayward ethics need not comply.
Once the callow unfolds
Into worldly-wise…
The inner conversation depicts,
Uniqueness that has shed any
Form of a previous disguise.
