One Side or the Other

There comes a time to choose

One side or the other.

Often an easy choice, sometimes not.

Depending on the footing…

Walking a tightrope.

At work it’s a matter of politics

Career survival may be at stake.

Don’t be a fake, be wise.

Privately, friends or family

Loyalty and justness direct traffic.

Either side of the coin can be tenuous.

Meandering not allowed the landing

Is a statement being read out loud.
