Situations full of neglect
Working past overtime
Hardly increasing a dime.
Kids in dreamland, need to be home
Sometime.
Wife’s thinking, “need me time,”
Schooling, cooking, tending to
All matters wearing thin, blending
Both sides of the union.
Patience has its timetable
Can seem never ending
Father believes in direction.
Flawed evaluation,
Time away leads to decay.
At some point cannot stay
Lost opportunities of insights,
As life’s progressions evaporate.
