Sometimes we can see a specific outcome brewing from miles away, two examples come to mind immediately, one being behavior, the other procrastination. In the case of behavior, think of the wise guy who keeps surprising people with tricks or practical jokes. As the deeds unfold in your mind you're thinking...one day! The prankster likes to use water as his partner. Water balloons, hoses, buckets you name it, if its available at the right time, game on. One day he's all dressed up for a night on the town, suddenly he finds himself participating in a video bucket challenge, the prankster gets a taste of his own medicine- message received...In the case of procrastination, you're shopping around for that guitar you really want, you see it at a reasonable price...but the hunt continues. The seller contacts you for the sale, still slow to react. Even your best friend urges you to make the deal. Finally, when the moment arises and you make the call to the seller...sold, to a motivated buyer. Anyone could see, it was bound to happen.
